FAQs
How do I become a member?
Once you've submitted an expression of interest form (below) we will be in touch to set up an initial call. We will then work with you to establish that this model is the right fit for you and that we are all confident you can achieve your ambitions with us. We might also at this stage do some initial business development planning with you so you feel confident you have a plan for how you make the most from the community. During this period, you will be offered the opportunity to speak to others in our ecosystem and, if you're still keen, provided with a draft contract to review. Once that's signed, you're in!
How long does that process take?
We don't want to rush things - this is an important step for you and for us. We can set up the initial call within a couple of weeks, but it'll probably be a few months until you're fully onboarded. But we can go at your pace.
Will I be tied in?
Absolutely not. We ask for a rolling minimum six month commitment because there is an investment and lead time on onboarding/offboarding you from systems, but we ask for nothing beyond that. (Though we do expect you'll want to stay forever 😉)
What happens to my client relationships if I leave the Community?
They're yours when you come in, while you're here and after you leave. You'll retain total control over your client relationships and this will be reflected in the contract.
Can I do work outside the Community?
Of course, this isn't an exclusive gig. However, you'll only be covered by our insurance (and be able to access our support and resources) in relation to projects invoiced through us. And the Community operates on trust and interdependence; if we feel you're not really invested in the Community then we will have a discussion about whether it's still the right fit.
Will you provide me with work?
No. The Community is for consultants with their own client following and pipeline of work (or the clear capability to build one) which will remain separate from the core Greenheart pipeline. However, as part of the Greenheart ecosystem, we will of course refer work/ask for you to partner with us if we think you are a good fit with one of our projects. We would encourage all members to do the same between them as well. We are also here for business development advice, coaching and joint proposals if it's helpful.
Will my work/output be monitored?
No. We are not here to control the quality or volume of your work. You are in complete control of how, when and where you work. We do, however, have fairly strict brand usage guidelines in place and a client complaint procedure that would apply to you.
