Our vision is a world where all businesses operate as if people and planet mattered as much as profit.

We see our contribution to society as being to work proactively towards that vision by advocating for change and helping businesses and investors measure and manage their transition to net positive impact.

Everything we do is led by this vision and our three core values: Impact, Integrity and Action.

We believe that it’s possible to operate an economic system where people, planet and profit can all co-exist and thrive.

We believe that solutions exist to the Climate Emergency and many other social and environmental threats the planet faces.

Being part of these solutions is what drives us every day and is the context for all our work.

We subscribe wholeheartedly to the concept of the Circular Economy, which proposes a different way of valuing and treating limited planetary resources. By running our businesses in a way that restores and replenishes resource value, there is no limit on our value growth potential whilst also improving our planet rather than diminishing it.

You can find our own Social & Environmental Impact Policy here.

We believe that good business should be seen as a series of inter-dependencies between stakeholders in the value chain. Like all good relationships, those can only thrive in an environment of trust and openness. Too often, business (rightly or wrongly) is tarred by the notion that to achieve greatness and value it’s necessary to cut corners, deceive or take liberties with the truth.

We stand by the belief that true long term value in a business is built when it acts with integrity in all its actions.

For us, it’s not enough to have good ideas – they’re useless unless they can be put into action. We will never advise in a vacuum or leave you with a plan that can’t fit with the realities of your business.

As business people ourselves, with actual management experience, everything we do is firmly rooted in practical action. Before making a recommendation, we always ask ourselves: “What would we do on Monday morning to make this happen?”

We’re a B Corp TM2018-B-Corp-Logo-Black-L

We’re immensely proud to have become a Certified B Corporation® on 15th August 2017 (our B Corp Birthday!).

B Corporations are leaders of the global movement of people using business as a force for good.

There are now more than 3,000 Certified B Corporations from more than 150 industries in 60+ countries with 1 unifying goal – to redefine success in business.

B Corps aim to inspire all businesses to compete not only to be the best in the world, but to be the best for the world. We became a Certified B Corporations by demonstrating high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

The performance standards B Corps have to meet are comprehensive, transparent and verified. They measure a company’s impact on all its stakeholders (e.g. workers, suppliers, community, customers and the environment).

Unlike traditional corporations, the directors of Certified B Corporations are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions not only on their shareholders, but also on their stakeholders (e.g., workers, suppliers, community, consumers, and the environment).

Other B Corps in the UK include the Guardian, innocent, Pukka Herbs, Ella’s Kitchen, Cook, Divine Chocolate and Jojo Maman Bebe.

For us, it was a no brainer to join this incredible community of businesses who share our values. We re-certified in June 2020 with an impact score of 105.4, a 30% increase on our original score.
